This ‘film hotel’ in Flanders, near to Brugge, offers a unique experience, where every room tells you the life story of a movie star from a forgotten time. Here, you can visit the magnificent medieval towns and Brugge, only 15 minutes from the hotel. Alternatively, you can rent a bike and discover the Meetjesland, an excellent cycling and walking paradise. In the evenings, you can watch your favourite movie and enjoy the nostalgia. In the morning, we serve ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ in our former ballroom.

One of the beauties of Hotel Capitol is the old movie theatre! Build in the fifties, it is the last town cinema in Flanders! The first movie ever played is ''The king and I'' with Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr in 1957. Until recently there were several film performances every weekend. Now the movie hall is only open for groups on request. Are you looking for a unique location for your congresses? Do you wish to organize a ''cocktail & movie'' event for your clients? Or just end your meeting with a ''movie dinner''? Or ''Cine Soirees'' are legendary.
Please inform the hotel about your estimated time of arrival, as the reception is closed after 18:00.
Enjoy a local beer in the bar of the inside terrace. You can also have small snacks. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and you can enjoy a special menu if you book via the hotel.
